Woodbury Litchfield Hills Foxhounds

Woodbury Litchfield Hills Foxhounds Inc is dedicated to Preserving & Enjoying Our Natural Resources & Heritage while enjoying the century's old country life activity of riding to hounds. Dressed in traditional formal hunting attire, gentlemen in scarlet coats and ladies in black follow foxhounds as they chase an artificial scent through the Litchfield County, Connecticut spectacular countryside. The sight of riders galloping and jumping stonewalls and old split rail locust fences originally placed by our forefathers as they follow foxhounds, provide an exciting afternoon for riders and spectators.

We are proud to be part of the wonderful historic communities of Litchfield County, Connecticut which are so rich in heritage and natural resources. Throughout the centuries, Litchfield County people have demonstrated with their goodness and generosity that contributing to our community is an important part of their daily life.

Because we believe in giving back is a worthy tradition, we will be making donations to our local and neighboring non-profit organizations whose missions are similar to ours.

Please join us as a participant or spectator as we assemble for our meets during the hunt season, which is after the fall harvest until spring planting.
